Pannell Industries, Inc. specializes in road sweeping and maintenance services. Due to the rapid growth during this year, our company needs to bring more qualified members to strengthen and expand our business. Currently we are looking for qualified shop helper who can provide supportive assistance in truck repairing and warehouse maintenance. As a shop helper, you will have the opportunity to perform daily maintenance duties for different types of trucks and equipment. The details are as follow:
Job Description
- Work on assigned equipment such as sweepers, dump truck, tractors and pick up
- Inspect equipment for proper operating condition, make repairs or adjustments, lubricates
- Assist in making minor repairs as required such as welding, tire change, oil change, etc.
- Wash truck as assigned by Fleet Manager and maintain the trucks clean both inside and outside
- Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties as required
- Maintain shop equipment and tools organized
- Maintain work order completely and punctually
Candidate Qualifications
- Must maintain stable work hours (will be discussed during interview)
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus but not required)
- Minimum of 3-year experience with vehicle repair and maintenance
- Follow instruction and work extra hours if necessary
- Welding, forklift experience preferred
- Ability to effectively work across functional teams to achieve common goals
- Must speak fluent English (Spanish is a plus but not required)
