Pannell Industries, Inc. specializes in road sweeping and maintenance services. Due to the rapid growth during these years, our company needs to bring more qualified members to strengthen and expand our business. Right now, we are looking for truck mechanic who has experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles and equipment in good condition. The details are as follow:

Job Responsibilities

  • Determine vehicle condition by inspections and diagnostic tests
  • Able to identify issues such as electrical problems, worn and damaged parts
  • Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
  • Complete machine shop operations such as making adjustments and alignments (including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units).
  • Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Maintain shop equipment and tools organized and ready to be used anytime
  • Maintain constant vehicle records by filling in the work order completely and punctually.
  • Communicate with Fleet Manager about equipment availability and supplies status on daily basis.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publication.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus but not required)
  • Minimum of 3-year experience with diesel truck repair
  • Able to pass a background check including drug screening and criminal background check
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment
  • Ability to follow instruction and work extra hours (night shift is a plus but not required)
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Speak fluent English (Spanish is a plus but not required)
