Pannell Industries, Inc. specializes in road sweeping and maintenance services. Due to the rapid growth during this year, our company needs to bring more qualified members to strengthen and expand our business. Currently we are looking for a Accounting Manager. The details are as follow:
Job Descriptions
- Monitor the overall accounts receivable and accounts payable system including weekly billing, collection, invoicing and payment processing. Manage daily expense tracking to ensure the transactions are recorded correctly in the accounting system and supported with documentations.
- Be responsible for all vendor inquiries and verify pricing for service products and services. Coordinate with the fleet department to ensure the pricing accuracy in the purchasing database.
- Supervise the expense and spending on ongoing contracts and projects. Compare with budgets and review with principal to ensure the alignment between actual cost with budget. Coordinate timely meeting or phone calls with clients to assure any issues are resolved quickly.
- Maintain the fixed asset system. Prepare the journal entries for assets acquisition, depreciation, impairment, sale and retirement, etc. Reconcile general ledger to fixed assets system. Prepare annual depreciation schedule for book and tax purposes.
- Lead month-end closing and bank statement reconciliations. Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, provide recommendation on corrections and adjusting journal entries and record journal entries upon approval.
- Perform various complex account analyses and reconciliation. Assist with annual external auditing and tax activities. Responsible for state tax filing and resolve any tax compliance issues.
- Prepare annual budget and forecast for large project as well as for general business operations.
- Responsible in documentation and update of the accounting policies and procedures. Assist in the performance evaluation of the accounting operations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Education: Master’s in Accounting
- Experience: At least 10 months of experience in job offered
